About the piece
 
A woman asked me to draw her daughters (which are twins) in a picture a little while back, and this is what I came up with. Theres another piece in the shop that also features the smaller one on a gymnastics beam, simply because she loved taking part in the sport - hence the name of it just being "Gymnast." This one of the twins, however, was a little more interesting to make in terms of messing with how colors looked layered over top of others, making a more "pop art" look. It makes me wonder why I never played around with something like that in the first place. Although more cartoony than realistic, I think I did ok drawing children for once.
